Midnight Ramblings

I must say that I take great relaxation and motivation in sitting for an hour, maybe two, and reading people's blogs. Now I'm not talking about any Joe Blow's randomness, I enjoy reading people's views on the American church, funny stories, seeing pictures of their lives and reading about everyday occurences. I spent some time tonight reading Aaron Ivey's blog (lead singer of Spur58). They were the worship leaders at two of our camps last summer and I truly respect them a lot. Their music is absolutely fantastic and God-glorifying!

Today has been a great day, although minimal studying was accomplished. I refuse to be one of those people that lists the 20 things they have to do, in detail. Personally, I don't enjoy or really learn anything from listening to people tell me the next 20 things that needs to be done over the next 4 days.

My parents are coming tomorrow so we can do lunch for my mom's birthday! They are truly great!! They will also be carrying a load of my stuff home since I'll be moving out of the dorm on Friday. It's sort of the end of an era in my life (a small one). I've lived in this same room for 2 years with my best friends, one of whom is now getting an apt, but the other two I will be reunited with for the fall semester. THEN....drumroll please....I GRADUATE IN DECEMBER!! As to what happens next, I have no idea!

Well, as usual, I am very ambitious at midnight and once again will try the waking up early thing tomorrow in order to get a significant amount of studying done before I go to meet my parents for lunch.

Sad event of the week: I broke my favorite brown headband. I guess that's what you get for getting your fav hair accessories at Walmart. (Walmart and I have a love/hate relationship.)
